Cadillac man killed crossing I-475

FLINT — A Cadillac man was killed in a hit and run in Genesee County's Mount Morris Township when he attempted to cross I-475.

Mount Morris Township Police have no leads on the vehicle that struck Jesse Mitchel Barber, 25, while he was dodging traffic in an attempt to cross I-475 just north of Saginaw Street around 2:47 a.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Dave Johnson said.

A vehicle traveling north on the 65-mph highway hit the man. Some headlight covers were the only evidence found at the scene, Johnson said.
