Beach Bums win 11-6, head home

O'FALLON, Mo. — Shortstop Justin Holmes reached base five times and pitcher Ryan Gehring posted his second win of the season as the Traverse City Beach Bums won the final game of their road trip, 11-6 over the River City Rascals on Sunday night.

Holmes went 2-for-3 and walked three times. One of his hits was his third home run of the season. He also batted in three runs and scored twice.

The Bums return home Tuesday for the start of a four-game series against Windy City.
