Two Bums named as All-Stars

A pair of Traverse City Beach Bums were named to the Frontier League All-Star Game on July 11.

Traverse City shortstop Justin Holmes and catcher Curtis Ledbetter were named to the North team for the game in Florence, Ky.

The North will feature members of the Central Division as well as Washington and Slippery Rock from the East.

Holmes will make his second straight appearance in the All-Star Game. Ledbetter is in his first season with the Beach Bums.

Windy City has the most representatives on the squad with seven selections.

Windy City's Andy Haines will manage the North team. Gateway's Phil Warren will be the skipper for the South.
