TC Christian puts out the Bulldogs

TRAVERSE CITY What a difference a couple of quarters makes.
Traverse City Christian, a 12-point winner in its first meeting with TC Home School, outscored the Bulldogs 45-14 in the second and third periods en route to a 74-25 triumph on Tuesday.
All eight players who suited up for the Sabres (6-5) scored.
Matt Yeiter hit five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points for TC Christian. Eric Hofstra added 11 points and Nathan Banks 10.
Wayne Spratt led the Home School team with nine points.
The Sabres (6-5) also won the JV game, 57-35, led by 17 points from Jason Send.
Grandville 67
TC West 46
Jake Bentley had 11 points and Dane Mylnarchek 10 as Grandville topped TC West, 67-46.
Darren Keyton had nine points while John Purdy and Rich Rosenburg added seven. Will Conklin contributed four steals and three assists for West (2-9).
TC West won the JV game 58-46 as Andrew Clark had 16 points and eight assists. Greg Forrester added 12 points and nine rebounds and Andy Zimmerman 12 points for the Titans.
Grandville won the freshman game, 40-37. Evan Schultz had 10 points while Dane Deemer (10 rebounds) and Brady Fagan added seven points for West (5-6).

Drew Mitchell became the eighth Northport player to score 1,000 career points and it came in a 66-53 comeback victory over Boyne Falls.
The Wildcats (5-5) trailed 33-25 at halftime.
Mitchell finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds and four steals. Cody Brown added 17 points, five rebounds and three assists, Nathan Scherrer 10 points and nine assists and Basil Stowe six rebounds, six assists and two steals.
Codey Sisson had 32 points for Boyne Falls.

Benzie Central 62
Kyle Hickle scored 20 points and Steven Cooper and Rocko Holmes added 11 each to lead Cadillac past Benzie Central 74-62.
The Vikings led at the quarter breaks 22-12, 39-31 and 55-48.
Pacing Benzie (6-5) were Jarred Lorenc (23 points), Dan Loney (14) and Gavin Gilbert (10).

Gaylord improved its record to 8-3 with a 69-54 victory over Cheboygan.
The Blue Devils were led by Kyle Eno's 21 points and Trey Crongeyer's 12.
Cheboygan (3-8) was led by the trio of Cory Lewandowski (160, Nick Freeman (12) and Brian Lindsay (11).

Mason County Central edged Manistee 60-51 in a showdown between one-loss teams.
Manistee (11-2) received 17 points from Jacob Kiss. Rusty McGrady added 14 points and five rebounds.

Carlos Garcia had 17 points and Daniel Casselman added 14 as Mesick edged out Lake City, 59-53.
Zach McGiness had 15 points and Lance Morris 10 for Lake City.

Robby Zenner led a balanced attack for Kingsley with 20 points and six rebounds. Brian Bott added 18 points and 10 rebounds and A.J. Lawhead 10 points.

Garrett Gribi had 10 points and Zack Dreffs nine as Elk Rapids topped Glen Lake, 46-39.
Ryan Dyksterhouse paced Glen Lake (5-6) with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Leland improved to 9-3 overall with a 72-57 victory over Manistee Catholic.
Marcus Whittaker had 21 points to lead the way for Leland. Matt Lichty added 16 and Jordan Gibson 10.

Mike McClary had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead Bellaire to a 54-37 victory over Forest Area.
Cody Bock added eight points, three assists and two steals for the Eagles (9-0, 5-0 Ski Valley). Jordan Nevarez chipped in with seven points while Anthony Garwood had six points, six assists and two steals.
Tyler Denike had 10 points and Jeremiah Stockert eight for Forest Area.

Five players scored in double figures to lead Pellston past Gaylord St. Mary 67-62.
Pacing the Hornets were Ridge Hahn (15), Justin Litzner (15), Jake Campeau (13), Brandon Lewis (12) and Chris Gillett (11).
St. Mary (4-6, 2-5 Ski Valley) had four players in doubles Alvin Sitkviewicz (19), Robert DeLong (17), Matt Foster (12) and Andy Borowiak (10).

Central Lake outscored Johannesburg-Lewiston 37-17 in the middle two quarters and coasted to a 71-43 Ski Valley Conference win over the the Cardinals.
Pacing the Trojans (5-5, 5-1 league) were Zach Light with 20 points and Brent Patton and Alex Scott with 12 each.
Aaron Newell scored 14 points for Joburg, while John Sewell added 10.

Ellsworth avenged an overtime loss to Mancelona a week ago with a 60-50 victory.
Jarod Steenwyk led the Lancers (5-4) with 21 points. Dustin Flory added 15 and Jared Danbert 12.
Jeremy Howard had 14 points and Adam Duerksen 12 for Mancelona.

Jasper Woodcut's 18 points topped Manton. Matt Huston added 10.

Sean Burke and Todd Knaus scored two goals each to propel Traverse City West past Sault Ste. Marie 4-1 at Howe Arena.
Travis Stricker was the winning goalie. West (13-5) outshot the Blue Devils 26-15.
Manistee boys, girls sweep LMSC meet
Manistee's Kari Paine won the slalom and teammate Katie Bramble captured the giant slalom to lead the Chippewas' girls team to a 43-point victory in Lake Michigan Ski Conference action at Crystal Mountain.
Manistee was also victorious on the boys side, edging Benzie 46-54. The Chippewas' Keegan Janowiak won the GS and Benzie's Eric Baumeler the slalom.
