League forums to be broadcast on TCTV2

TRAVERSE CITY — The League of Women Voters of the Grand Traverse Area will broadcast its forums about candidates and issues in the Nov. 7 election on TCTV2.

The forum featuring the District 2 and District 8 candidates for Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners will air at 8 p.m. on Friday, 2 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 p.m. on Sunday.

The program for Districts 1, 7, and 9 will run at 3:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The forum with 37th Senate District candidates Jason Allen and Sharon Unger will air at 8 p.m. today, 2 a.m. on Friday and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The program featuring Fourth Congressional District candidates Dave Camp and Mike Huckleberry will run at 10 p.m. today, 4 a.m. on Friday, and 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday.

A presentation about a proposed farmland preservation tax in Leelanau County will run at 10 p.m. on Friday and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Another program on Proposal 2 will air at 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
