Put a face to the crime

There's justice. And then there's justice as we'd like it to be.
Take the case of Gary Singer and Margaret Zimmerman.
The owners of Estate Growth Management pleaded guilty earlier this month to cheating clients into investing more than $1 million. Singer pleaded to two counts of false pretenses over $20,000, Zimmerman to two counts of embezzlement, both over $20,000.
They have already paid $200,000 in restitution, and have 11 months to repay $705,624 to their victims. If they do, they can cut their potential prison time in half.
      That's fine.
What we'd also like to see, however, is for the two be forced to visit every nursing and assisted living home and senior center in the county and explain what they did, how they did it and how to avoid sharks like them.
It would be good for seniors to be able to put a face to the scam.
