Students to present downtown TC study

TRAVERSE CITY - University of Michigan students will present the results of a "character study" of downtown Traverse City at a meeting today.
Graduate students from the university will give highlights of a study they conducted about the city and its connections to the waterfront. The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. today at the Governmental Center.
The students are part of a bayfront and downtown planning process to develop a vision for the city's waterfront.
Students from Michigan State University will return to Traverse City for a 7 p.m. meeting Jan. 19 to show their design ideas for the waterfront. The public is invited to attend that presentation at the Great Lakes Campus.
