November 11, 2005Thank a veteran todayIf you know a veteran of America's armed forces, take a moment on this Veterans Day to say thank you.And then take a few more moments to contemplate just how much these people have given to serve their country. Many tens of thousands have died, many times that number have suffered grievous wounds of all kinds. All of them, every man and woman, also left the life they knew for a life they don't know. They left behind friends and loved ones and stepped into the unknown to serve. So if you know a veteran, take a moment today to say thank you.
