May 20, 2005Balloon launch will remember deaths of loved onesFROM STAFF REPORTSTRAVERSE CITY - Michael's Place will host its annual balloon launch Monday to commemorate the deaths of loved ones. The balloon launch is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Traverse Area District Library Children's Gardens. Community members are welcome to participate in the free event, which is designed as a tangible form of grieving to provide comfort and healing for people of all ages.
