No alcohol allowed at Open Space films

      TRAVERSE CITY - Alcoholic beverages will be banned in the Open Space during the Traverse City Film Festival.
      The city commission agreed to the no-alcohol rule Monday at the request of the film festival committee.
      The film festival will run July 27-31. The festival plans to show free movies at 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday at the Open Space. Titles to be shown on the waterfront include "Jaws," "The Princess Bride," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Casablanca."
