Monday, the city commission agreed to pay up to $8,000 for architectural services on a multi-use development that includes public parking on both sides of West Front Street. Developer Michael Uzelac of Federated Properties, LLC will pay the other half of the cost for preliminary site design for the $70 million project. The developer also is scheduled to present project ideas to the planning commission at a 7 p.m. Wednesday meeting at the Governmental Center.
