July 7, 2005Police say 'Vette driver had too many drinksFROM STAFF REPORTSTRAVERSE CITY - A Traverse City woman was arrested by police for allegedly driving a vintage Corvette while drunk with two teenagers along for the ride. Traverse City police Capt. Steve Morgan said the 47-year-old woman was driving the car at a "high rate of speed" on West Silver Lake Road at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday when she left the roadway. No one was injured in the crash.
